AVALANCHE AWARENESS COURSE

New Zealand Mountain safety Council (MSC) 1.5 day course to learn safe backcountry travel techniques & avalanche rescue skills. For more information click here.

BACKCOUNTRY TRAVEL COURSE

The Backcountry Travel Course is for recreational skiers and snow boarders wanting to learn avalanche skills and backcountry travel techniques – use of touring skis or split board & avalanche assessment and rescue skills. As part of the course you will receive the New Zealand Mountain safety Council (MSC) Avalanche Awareness Certificate.
