MT Outdoors on Dunmore St has the only fleet of backcountry equipment in Wanaka. We have twenty-four touring ski setups, with a variety of light to sturdy bindings such as Dynafit, Tyrolia and Salomon.

Each ski has its dedicated skin to ensure best fit. All touring poles are three part and mainly Black Diamond Expedition, being the most durable and effective in snow conditions. We also have around 40 pair of touring boots from 23.5 to 31.5 sizing, with different brands to get the best rental fit possible for the client.

Prices start at $89 per day for a package.

We also stock rental avalanche equipment, touring packs, as well as a large downhill ski fleet.
