Black Peak to Treble Cone via Poolnoon Burn – Harris Mountains
A superior ski tour from Black Peak back to Treble Cone Ski Field is via the Poolnoon Burn. This makes a good long day ski tour using Heli access from Cattle Flat, flying to the summit of Black Peak (Aspiring Helicopters -(03) 443- 7152. The cost should be around $100

Garvie Mountains – Blue Lake Huts – Backcountry ski tour

Mt Mannering via Whataroa and Classen Saddles – Murchison Glacier, Main Divide Southern Alps
A great adventure ski tour crossing the main divide with a spectacular summit. From Murchison hut ascend the glacier on the opposite side of the valley heading towards point 2178. The glacier steepens at around the 1900m mark to 2000m mark and for us required cramponing. We did this in
